Once a Spartan, always a Spartan, right? Operation get fit again is in full-effect!
I was one of the lucky ones that two weeks after birth was only 2 pounds away from my pre-baby weight. Don’t ask me how or why that happened because I have no idea. But the ugly truth is that I didn’t lose those 2 pounds between then and now, instead I gained about 10 back (yay for maternity leave and plenty of time to enjoy the good life aka FOOD). Pair that with the fact that I was probably 20 pounds heavier than my ideal weight when I got pregnant and I’m now sitting at about 30 pounds up and am hating it. So mark this day, July 10, as the highest non-pregnant weight that I will ever be because I am on a mission. My first plan of attack is carb-free. I know that’s controversial, but it works for me and in order to stay committed, I have to see results early and quick. So if you see me eating in public and I’ve got something on my plate that resembles bread, you have my permission to come snatch it from me. PLEASE.
Oh and just FYI, I don’t consider red wine to be a no-no on this diet, so don’t even consider taking my wine from me! That won’t end well for you, trust me!
